My name is Jen D, the founder and Master Crafter behind The Flowing Veil — a space where hand-tied brooms and intentional craftwork come together. I've always been drawn to the quiet magic of working with my hands: shaping natural materials into objects that feel alive with intention.
What began as a personal craft slowly grew into a practice I now share through classes, markets, and community.
I specialize in hand-tied brooms, each one built with care, intention, and a touch of magic. Whether it’s a small whisk broom or a full-size working broom, every piece is crafted to be both functional and meaningful.
Alongside broom-making, I also create a variety of decorative and usable items, each crafted with the same love and intention.
Sharing this craft is one of my favorite parts of the journey. I teach broom-making classes where students learn the traditional hand-tying method, choose their materials, and leave with a broom they built themselves.
I also travel to local DFW markets, bringing brooms and magical goods to the community.
My work is deeply influenced by traditional craftsmanship and the belief that handmade objects carry energy, intention, and story. Every creation begins as a simple gathering of natural materials and repurposed items, becoming something meaningful through intention and the quiet ritual of making.
